You can upload images images in JPG format. For this upload please try to keep files sizes relatively small. A file saved at 72 pixels per inch with a width of approximately 800 pixels (11 inches) will provide us with plenty of resolution to view the pictures.
Time out
If the system times out it is possible that you have uploaded an image that is too large. Jpeg photos are compressed and the actual memory that the image uses when open is much larger than the size of the file saved on disk. A good rule of thumb is to make sure that the saved file size is less than 500 kb.
Digital camera settings.
Most digital cameras have a high, medium and low setting. For the purposes of viewing your submitted photos for the Ugly kitchen Contest the "Low" setting will be sufficient.
